Just coming back from One Stop Shop…
Here is my experience…
– Tried sample tab they had. Tried using browser which was ok. used google map which worked fine. also tried playing a TED presentation which worked perfect. was not impressed much by the quality and finish of the tab but still decided to buy one.
– Filled the form, they handed me the tab box.. I opened it and it never turned on. They started explaining that it needs charging first. I said ok charge it and turn it on. I will not accept a tab which does not even turn on.
– They tried charging it for 15 minutes but no luck.
– Opened another box, same result. tab was dead.
– Opened third box, I turned it on. Wow it worked and I could see PTCL logo at start. then a PTCL animation started. PTCL animation was not smooth at all. looked like tab was running it only 10 fps.
– I started checking the tab and after couple of minutes realized that touch was not working in approx one inch area of left side of screen. Showed them that this one is also faulty.
– They started opening another tab ( 4th one ).
– meanwhile I asked to try sample tab once again and after couple of minutes found that back button was not working. So sample tab was also faulty.
– On other side 4th tab didn’t turn on either. it was dead as well…
I torn off the form I filled and left the OSS thanking Allah that I didn’t purchase such a crap.
Yup! Its really a garbage that PTCL finally decided to throw at this EID. They must’ve done it before at “Methi EID” I should say as no one (unless a fool) would have buy it for Rs 25,000 (the prvious price tag).
The price is still high as for attrecting good amount of customers but yet I’m sure PTCL will get rid of that garbeage with this offer.
As to confirm you: This TAB does’nt support Skype for video-calls however voice calls works perfect. As an alternate you may use Fring. Tango. or Yahoo.

i was wandering to purchase a tab. visited one shop at ptcl but could not found also visited local market(faisalabad). Meanwhile , i read your comments and i have changed my mind from “Buy” to “By”
